Stolen Identity

The branches cease to bear; the land remains barren.
It’s the land of stolen spiritual identity.

We are heirs to the promise (Gal. 3:29),
hearers of God (John 8:47),
truly free (John 8:36),
heard (Ps. 41:1),
not triumphed over (Ps 41:11).

Caleb & Joshua believed the Lord, having faith that battled solidly, and they were rewarded beautifully. They entered the promise land and found peace. They remained solidly planted with their spiritual identity in tact.

On the other hand, the other 10 spies fell to disbelief; they allowed their spiritual identity to be stolen by one who comes to kill, steal and destroy. They forgot the promises the Lord made, the deliverance and provision He had already been faithful in,  and that with Him all things are possible. (Matt. 19:26)

It’s a new season.
It’s a new year.
Sweet branches, let’s remain steadfast in the promises of the Lord.
Our spiritual identity is solid; He has spoken.

Be encouraged,
Kristi
