Take that Step: Forgive

It’s a common thread. Do you perceive it?

Forgiveness occurs when we draw near to our Father. It’s an act of maturity. It’s an act of surrender, of selflessness. It’s an act of love…that sets us free.

Like the woman who poured perfume on Jesus, my love cup overflows onto others when I truly realize how much I have been forgiven.

Like Matthew 6:12, I am forgiven as I forgive others.

Like Matthew 18:21-35, mercy leads the way as I realize how much mercy has been shown me.

As we end our series on forgiveness, won’t you take a few minutes to listen to the link attached? Feel free to grab your hot tea or coffee and sit for a spell. Be immersed in encouragement and wisdom to take that step before 2014 ends…to forgive.
Lord,
I forgive…..
Show me my own heart…
Pastor Willie George, senior pastor of Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma has a message that is appropriate: Here I Am, Send Me, Part 3.
