Be Still & Know

“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
 Psalm 46:10 NIV*

Aahhhh…the beauty of learning to be still.
Lately there’s been an amazingly consistent peace residing in choices, day to day living, and life overall.  The calm and peace of the Lord resides as I’ve learned to trust Him.  It’s amazing how being still and KNOWING has calmed the seas of stormy life and allowed faith to exalt my Father instead.

A smile filtered through quite easily today as I read Psalm 46.  Not only is verse 10 a walking reality now, but take a look at the reassurance our Lord gives at the doorway to that Psalm:

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1 NIV*
Love it!  Right from the get-go He lets us know that He IS our refuge.  He IS our strength.  He IS our ever-present help.  No longer do we have to worry, fret, run to friends, or the likes.  We can KNOW what He is then simply be still and KNOW.
Have an awesome day, dear Branches, knowing your Lord. Have a fulfilled life being still and KNOWING.
Exalting Him,
Kristi
