Book Review: Fulfilled: Learning to Live the Life God Promised + Book Giveaway!

“…courage is the strength and conviction that something else is more important than the fear we have.” ~ Danise Jurado

Those words draped the opening page of the “Courage” chapter located deep in the heart of Danise Jurado’s newly released book, Fulfilled: Learning to Live the Life God Promised. The words spoke. Faith, having the courage to walk in God’s will, is far more important than fear. The words cheered truth.

This book is immersed in God’s truth. Danise comes alongside the reader, cheering him or her to look to God Almighty for life’s solutions. From battling food addiction to being on the other side of a spouse’s alcohol addiction, Danise brings understanding. She also brings a strong faith that points to the majesty and power of God Almighty.

And the part I really love? Half of the proceeds support the Los Angeles Dream Center. Danise is a pastoral counselor at the Dream Center, so it’s only fitting that her written resource contributes just as her everyday life does. It’s a book that gives in so many ways.

What type of reader would benefit from this book?

Let me start by asking you this: If you could have a handbook for your walk with Jesus, what would it look like? The Bible (hopefully) would stand out as first and foremost.

But if you were a younger Christian, newer to your faith, would there be another tool shedding light for your walk?

If you’ve ambled down the Christian road for a bit, what tools would you use to further strengthen your gate?

Fulfilled: Learning to Live the Life God Promised fits the bill for any of these. It’s a tool for the new Christian but also for the one who is familiar with the Christian path. Topics such as forgiveness, breaking free, joy, hope, change, and confidence are covered. But there are more. You won’t want to miss any of them.
