Dear Me…Letters To My Younger Self: A Guest Post at CarmenHorne.com

Dear Younger Me,

Hello there, beautiful one. My, you’re a lovely masterpiece today. God’s work in you is good, and I praise Him. This I know full well. Oh, how I wish you knew that, too…

This letter to my Younger Me is part of a series, Dear Me…Letters to My Younger Self, celebrating the July birthday of Carmen Horne.

Happy birthday, Carmen!

A few friends and I are helping her celebrate all month long. We’re gals from different generations, but I’ll leave you guessing as to which generation I belong to! 😉

If you were to write a letter to your younger self, what would you say? Maybe the words would be plentiful? Perhaps they would be only a few. Regardless, we all have a letter brewing somewhere. You’ll find the rest of my letter continued here at Carmen’s place. I’ll meet you over there.

  1. Kristi – Sweet , sweet words to yourself. I love this idea, I am unsure what I would say, but I really like this. Visiting you from Blessing Counter, and, as always, blessed by your words.

  2. Kristi, This is perfectly beautiful! What a wonderful idea. There are so many things I would say to my younger self. One would be to surrender anxiety and trust more. That God is able. That all those things I feared most . . . He is greater than. Wow! Can you tell I needed this. Thank you! 🙂

  3. Kristi, the grace and love you share with me and so many drip from your words in your letter to your younger self. Why is that harder to do with our own selves? May we always use kind words with our own selves. Thank you, Kristi, for sharing your heart at #IntentionalTuesday on Intentionally Pursuing. : )

    1. Five years ago my letter wouldn’t have dripped quite as it did in this one, Crystal. It’s such a battle, so often hidden, too. Yes! May we always use kind words with ourselves. Speaking that too, my friend.
