Merry Christmas, my friend.
The year is winding to an end as Christmas and New Year’s are quickly approaching. This will be the last post on Bearing Branch for 2014. What a year it has been!
You were gracious enough to respond to my request, “What would you like to see on the blog?” Thank you.
Growing deeper was the key theme. So we went there.
With surrender.
With prayer.
With forgiveness.
All choices for maturity. All choices that draw us closer to the One we love.
As we close this year, we have victories to claim and cherish in the name of Jesus. We also have two things to look forward to in the new year. (I’m sure there are more, but two will be leading the pack.)
1. The unfailing love of our Father, our Daddy.
He will never fail you or me. He is faithful.
2. Scripture memorization.
Some folks can memorize Scripture easily. I’m not one of those. I can tell you where it is in my Bible, can even describe where it is on the page, but the exact words take a long while to settle in my brain. Maybe you wouldn’t mind encouraging me by coming along for the memorization walk? In lieu of Practically Wednesdays, stay tuned in 2015 for battle and victory tools in the form of Scripture memorization.
Until then, I’ll be in prayer for this next year and will give thanks for you as well as His hand in every essence of life during 2014.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9 NIV
Merry Christmas, my friend! Looking forward to the new year with you : )
Merry Christmas! And, me too!!!
