Is Psalm 1, the whole beautiful chapter, banked in your heart? If so, great! You have an arsenal of ammunition for the battles ahead. If it’s not quite tucked in your memory yet or if you’re new to #ScriptureBank2015, that’s okay. Be encouraged to keep (or start) soaking in His word, my friend.
This Scripture memory program isn’t about checking off boxes.
This program is about depositing very real words from God in our hearts. It’s about being prepared when we face battle. It’s about spiritual maturity. It’s about #walkingdeeper, encouraging one another, running this race called life together.
I sometimes have difficulty hiding God’s word in my heart.
You too? Championing the visual learner tag, I can see the verse in my Bible, gather and regurgitate portions of verses, and even tell you what side of the page it’s on, but having it deposited, in its entirety, complete with chapter and verse tag, is sometimes a meandering target. That’s why #ScriptureBank2015 was started, to hold me accountable. So if you, or maybe even some of your friends, would like to be held accountable as well, come on along every Monday as we soak in a new verse, as we add to our arsenal, increasing the deposits in our bank, becoming richer in the spiritual with every deposit. Glory to God!

Love this! I just committed today to memorize a scripture every two weeks! Thanks Kristi!
You are welcome, Ellen. Love it!
Oh yes. I need to remind myself of this all the time. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome, Lux. God’s Word is always faithful. 🙂
Loved this. I, too have a hard time with some verses memorizing them. I write them on plates, put them in my kitchen window, carry them in the car, but some are just hard.
You’re a wise woman, Debbie, hiding those Scriptures in such creative ways.
