Keys to Praise
The Master musician’s hands have begun rendering His masterpiece. One at a time the keys settle, composing a melody of praise upon this heart. With each note played, the piece is formulated with the utmost attention and care. The melody rings clear.
The latest key in praise:
I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Psalm 139:14 NIV*
Oh how easily the bash begins. Leading the way are, “My thighs are too big, and I’m too fat.” We think nothing of it, only wishing things were different. Yet, David, the man after God’s own heart, leads us down a different road; a praising road of triumph. It is a road that appreciates and praises the Lord for His work, His creation of us, His creation of me.
David knew our Father’s work was wonderful; he knew it full well. He took it personally. Do we? Do we know how wonderfully He has made us, not just everybody else? Do we appreciate the masterpiece He has created in us? Do we believe it enough to say, “I know it full well?”
It has truly been a week of revelation for me. He lovingly pressed a new key of praise into my heart and now I can love and appreciate His work… in me. I stand firm in believing that these miles upon miles of vessels and veins are praise-worthy. I know it full well.
Praying you’ll know it full well too so we can praise the Lord together.
Praising Him,
Kristi
