#ScriptureBank2016, Week 47 ~ Info for 2017
We’re coming to the close of #ScriptureBank2016!
This is our final memory verse for 2016. Isn’t “God with us” a beautiful way to close? If you missed a verse or two, or maybe a few, never fear. This Pinterest Board is always near. 😉 And the good news? #ScriptureBank2015 is there as well!
I love that you took this journey with me as we deposited God’s word.
Did you tuck verses to memory? Did some speak solidly with counsel only God can provide? I hope so!
Not all of the verses came easy to me. Some actually fell right over the memory cliff. But that doesn’t mean failure. It’s real. This isn’t a checklist.
Hiding God’s word, memorizing those scriptures He gave long ago, equates to grabbing spiritual gear for life’s race – so that we don’t sin against God.

And I can say this: more of God’s word is hidden in my heart now than at the beginning of the year. That’s my hope for you, too. Even just one more verse hidden within us has the stamp of success written all over it.
I once had a pastor who was adamant (in a good way) that believers should know the word. He was right. After all, if we don’t know the truth, how will we know which path is right and which is sin? How will we know and subsequently follow God’s will?
It’s never too late to tuck more truth in the heart.
Looking Ahead…
#ScriptureBank2017 will arrive on the scene Monday, Jan. 9. There will be a year’s worth of memory verses coming your way, starting that day.
But don’t keep this to yourself.
Please let friends and family know.
Spread the “word”, forward this post, click the tweet above, or hit “share” on fb.
After all, God’s truth is a lamp for life. Thank you, my friend.
I’ll see you, heart open and ready, in 2017.
