Do You Have the Heart of a Magi?
It’s been written before, long, long ago. The Magi. They had a different heart.
Do you have heart like the Magi?
It’s a heart that desires deeply, one that will search to no end. It’s a heart that will “go after”, regardless of the risk.
And in the end? It will find the treasure. Read more about the Magi, and quite possibly your own heart, in a past year’s Christmas post here.
This is the final week in 2015 to receive regular Monday and Tuesday blog posts emails. Other writings and Christmas parties have been tugging for attention, children as well. (Although they gawked in dismay last night, shook their heads too, when I excitedly exclaimed my volunteer status at their school Christmas parties. They’ll thank me later, right? This is a teenage thing, I hope!)
You’ll likely be busy shopping and partying, celebrating the birth of our Savior during the next three weeks. So, until 2016, Tuesday posts and #Lordtodayprayers on Facebook will hush, and I will be on a blogging vacation. #ScriptureBank2015 will continue to churn its Monday posts with memory verses, but Tuesday ditties will cease until the new year dawns.
Until then, may the celebration of the birth of our Savior overflow you with hope. May you find, both in Christmas and in 2016, what you’re truly looking for. May Jesus Christ become real as his understanding solidifies hope in your heart.
Until then, God bless and Merry Christmas!
Lots of love and the light of God during your blogging vacation. Have a beautiful one!
Oh, Kristi, I feel that pull with you … the shopping, the decorating, the baking, the wrapping, the celebrating. I pray your Christmas is blessed as you give your loved ones the gift of your presence and celebrate our dear Savior’s birth. Thank you for sharing your heart at #IntentionalTuesday. Merry Christmas, friend. : )
Have a wonderful break & a most Blessed Christmas!
Blessings to you during your blog break, friend. I hope you’ll enjoy this season with your family. Praying now that God will send special comfort to your heart as you continue grieving the loss of your dad.
I’m on a blogging break for Christmas, too, Kristi. Hope you and your family have a Christmas filled with blessings and with the continued comfort of our Lord. Thinking of you!
