Here’s a Not-to-Miss Promise for Those Who Fear God
Do You Fear God?
You know, the reverential way, a holy dose of awe and worship.
That kind of fear. Do you?
I ask myself and ponder that question more times than I’d like to admit. But every single Bible instance concerning the fear of the Lord promises good.
Why question?
What Does the Bible Say About Fear of God?
This week’s memory verse assures us of the promise of fearing God – the awe & worship kind.
Here’s an example of fear in the Bible.
Angels encamped and delivered Daniel. Even though the angel fought for several days, he made it to Daniel’s rescue. He turned down food and pressure from those in authority due to his fear of the Lord. Without hiding, he feared and worshiped. I want to be like Daniel. Willing to cling to my God regardless, to hold Him in such reverance that nothing else matters.
How about you?
