Have you seen this promise in scripture?
Go ahead, dig into the word “fear.”
See what results that dig offers. And toss your thoughts in the comments below. We’d love to hear how “fear of the LORD” impacts you.
Then, gather this scripture in memory because it’s our next verse as we memorize Psalm 34 this year.
Have you heard?

Exciting News!
Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Miracle of Love hit bookstore shelves today. Can you hear my squeal? This is my favorite, favorite, favorite Chicken Soup for the Soul book.
I’m super pumped because The Miracle of Love contains a story near and dear to my heart. So go ahead. Grab a copy, and flip to page 14 where you’ll find the story of Tony’s and my first in-person meeting. (And yes, I said “in person” because our courtship involved lots of letters, Desert Storm, and a long-distance relationship. Soooo not conventional.) Stamp our love story “original.” Call it a match truly made in heaven. 🙂
Listen here for three entertaining stories that offer the rich flavor of this book. And did I mention it’s my all-time fav Chicken Soup book? 🙂
I’ve always loved reading Chicken Soup. So uplifting.
Love that scripture verse today.
I’ve missed visiting your page. Sorry got so busy.
You’ve been missed, Lux! Glad you’re back and enjoying some Chicken Soup. 😉
Respect, honor, humility and gratitude are words that come to mind regarding the fear of the Lord, Kristi. Thanks for the visit today. Always a blessing to hear from you. Blessings to you and yours.
Powerful words, Horace. Powerful words. Blessings.
Psalm 34 is one of my favorite Psalms. Such beauty and truth found there. It’s a great section of scripture to memorize.
It is a beauty, isn’t it, Lisa?

Love your words, Misty. Thanks for sharing. Thanks also for the heads up on the incorrect PS reference. I changed it. You, my friend, are appreciated.
Congratulations, Kristi, on the Chicken Soup story! Sounds like a great one!
For me walking the fear or reverence of the Lord reminds me to put God first — His thoughts, His leading, His ways. Beautiful Psalm to hold close to your heart.
Thanks, Crystal. It is a new fav. 😉 Put God first – love it.
