#ScriptureBank2016, Week 41
Welcome back to #ScriptureBank2016!
It’s the 5th Monday.
You know what that means, right? It’s an opportunity to catch up on scriptures we really, really, really wanted to memorize…but something got in the way. And depositing them deep in the heart simply didn’t happen.
That’s okay. Just pick up and run anyway. This is a “catch up” week for past verses we missed. It’s also a week to peruse the internet concerning scripture memorization.
Perusing the Internet
Feel free to take a peek at friend Crystal’s post on Intentionally Memorizing Scripture. It’s part 4 in a series, so it’s like getting 4 for the wonderful price of 1. 😉 The links for the other 3 parts are noted at the top of the post.
Also, Lisa Appelo at True and Faithful has a “memorizing scripture” post to prep us for the upcoming new year. I know, it’s a little early, but can we ever be too early with God’s Word?
Check out this Scripture Memorization board.
And while we’re clicking through Pinterest, we can check out this new “tool” ~ a board called Tools for the Race. Look for “tools” to be added to this board periodically.
Take care, my friend, and stay tuned for tomorrow’s #YourStory testimony. It’s another goodie that goes raw and deep, offering hope of the God kind.
Great tool tips Kristi.
Thank you, Kristi, for sharing! I love all these great tools and tips for getting God’s Word in our hearts. xoxo
I love your Pinterest board! I only started memorizing scripture because I wanted my kids to have it….I’m hooked because knowing it by heart is even better than knowing where to find it. <3
