Another wonderful and extensive series is Karen Kingsbury’s Baxter Family books. They encompass nearly all of her novels. You can’t go wrong with Karen.
Becky Wade’s Misty River Romance series ranks high as well. (Her latest novel in this series is listed below.

Happy reading! To God be the glory.
I wasn’t much of a historical fiction fan until I read “Return to Me” by Lynn Austin. I have read the Old Testament books about the Jewish men and women who returned to help rebuild the Temple of Jerusalem and this book made me feel as though I was returning, too. It is so easy to think we’d act differently or be not tempted by the struggles they faced, but this book helped me see it all in a new light. It’s a message aimed at each of us as we feel the pull to join in with the many temptations and “gods” we are facing in modern times.
Ooo…that sounds good. Isn’t it amazing, the power of a good fictional story to wrap up in the loving arms of our Father?
Thanks for mentioning this title and sharing your experience, Glenda.
