21 Meaningful Christian Christmas Gifts

Snowflakes and Christian blog post title: 21 Meaningful Christian Christmas Gifts

Here are 21 meaningful Christian Christmas gifts to give — for fiction and nonfiction lovers alike, children and adults, too. They’re perfect faith-centered and faith-building presents.

Many are favorites of my own, faith-fueling resources that have spurred my love for Jesus, prayer, the Bible, etc. to a deeper level. Others are products created here at KristiWoods.net. Regardless, I hope you find the right ones to help your recipients dive deep into their faith.

Bible Study Gifts

1. Chronological Bible

Always a solid choice, the Bible starts our list. The Chronological Life Application Study Bible (NLT) not only includes the books in chronological order (which is different than most versions list them), but it also includes notes for better understanding.

A keeper of many Bibles, I bought this one to study with a different approach. Well worth the choice.

2. Softback Bible Study

This study, one that’s been around for a few years, is a goodie–for good reason. As I walked through a different season this year, words from Experiencing God from twenty-five years earlier played in my thoughts over and over. It’s a solid gift to give, especially to those who may be younger in their faith.

3. Bible Study Commentary

To help your gift recipient further understand the Bible, use this commentary from Matthew J. Henry. It has been helpful in my own Bible studies and certainly will aid others as well.

Matthew Henry had the rare ability to express profound spiritual insights with simplicity and eloquence. Over the years his writings have been read for both their scholarship and devotion, and none more than the classic Commentary of the Whole Bible. This commentary uniquely offers Matthew Henry’s outlines in today’s languages, which allows you to develop lessons and sermons as well as highlight the organization of each book and chapter. Additional maps and charts provide an overview of the New Testament, Christ’s ministry, and that of the apostles who followed Him. Features:
  • Prophecies of the Messiah-biblical markers that help you see God’s plan
  • Harmony of the Gospels-side-by-side accounts of all four biblical books
  • 12 pages of Indexed Maps-a guide to the cities and regions that witnessed the Bible firsthand

Many of us live half alive. We compare, compete, self-analyze, and self-promote in our endless, busy pursuit of perfection. Seated with Christ heralds a new kind of living. If it’s true what Scripture says, the we are treasured by God and given a place at his table, then all we need to do is to take our seats. Heather Holleman shows us how. Take your seat and live–simply, freely, fully–because of Jesus, for Jesus, and in the love of Jesus. Quit trying: be free.
